This week, the kids have been on Fall Break from school. It has been nice to have them home with us during the day and to let them have a break from the homework and the rigors of being in school. Mattie and Drew left Thursday for a visit with their birth mom, but we were able to work it out so Isaac and the girls could stay until Friday night so they could attend our Ward Trunk or Treat last night. It was very fun, but it was too cold for my taste. Also, not as many people came this year, but I think it had something to do with the two rival high schools in our town playing each other in football last night. Either way, the kids had a great time! Brianna was a cowgirl, Jenna was an angel, Isaac was Batman and Chloe was a queen. (I called her a "princess" yesterday, and she quickly corrected me and said she was a queen. Oh my...) We took this kids out to McDonald's first and then headed to the church. Our kids love those buckets you get with your Happy Meal at Halloween time.
